Spring Dry Brush

Hey Y'all!
Oh my goodness I am so glad to be back to nails! Ugh if you've been on my instagram lately you know that I have been battlin dizziness for a few days. It was a very scary time and so I finally went to the doctor yesterday and I have a congested ear throwin off my equilibrum so they gave me anti dizzy meds. I don't know how but they are thankfully makin me feel so much more normal! I'm still not 100% better and my ear is still clogged but hopefully soon I'll be all healed!
Anyways I felt good enough today to actually paint my nails and film again! I was goin stir crazy hadn't painted my nails in 5 days! That's a long time for me since usually I paint my nails every 2 days or so.
I wanted to start off with somethin simple though to not push myself too hard so I decided to do a dry brush! I thought it would be easy and quick and perfect with some springy colors!

Here's How:
I started with a hot pinky base of Color Club "Hi-Tech Hibiscus."

Then I started the dry brush technique with Salon Perfect "Summer Escape," yellow. Wipe the brush off on the bottle until it is mostly "dry."

Now streak it across the nail vertically. You'll see it will automatically create streaks because of the dryness.

I repeated the process with Salon Perfect "Smooth Sailing," blue. Wipe the brush off

and streak it onto the nail.

Again with Salon Perfect "Traffic Zone," orange.

And one last time with Salon Perfect "Loopy Lime," green.

Then I went back in with the same colors in a horizontal pattern.

How much of one color you add to the nail is up to you and if you get too much of one color just go back with the other colors to even it out.

Then with a small brush and acetone cleanup any excess polish on the skin.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it all in. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!
Here's the video:

I hope y'all enjoyed this one! I am really in love with this! The colors are so vibrant and springy and I love the cross hatchin that it created goin both directions on the nail.
If you get inspired by me use my tag #MagsyInspired on instagram so I can see!

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! I hope to be back to "normal" soon!
