Born Pretty Review/Demo

Hey Y'all!
Today I have a review and demo of a new stampin plate from Born Pretty Store!
Here's the design I did with it!

Let's get into the demo:
I started with each nail a different color from the Salon Perfect Neon Pop Collection.

This is the plate. It's the brand QA Q girl from Born Pretty Store.
It has apples and flowwers and heart beats and cross hatching. I used the cross hatching design. It' $1.99 right now.

I start by puttin black polish onto the image. I used a no name black pumpkin polish.

Then used my Creative Shop Scraper to scrape the polish towards me.

and pick the image up with my creative shop stamper.

Line it up with my nail and push my nail into the stamper to transfer the image. It looks like the stamp didn't work too good, but it's not the plates fault, I was tryin to stamp with my swamp cooler on because it was 100 degrees yesterday! You can see the other nails worked pretty well.
Then I repeat the stamp again and

Line up the stamp just off center of the first one to give it a closer cross hatch.

Clean up the stamper with a piece of tape.

I use my small brush and acetone to cleanup any polish on the skin.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it all in. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!
Here's the video:

I love the way this mani looks and I'm really happy with the new plate! It's got a nice variety of designs and I'm excited to use the apples when fall rolls around! The plate was really good, I just had a bit of trouble because I had my cooler on and it was dryin the polish quite quickly.
I hope y'all enjoyed this and if ya get inspired by me use the tag #MagsyInspired on instagram so I can see!

Neutral Chevron

Hey Y'all!
I have a neutral chevron today!
I did this design about 2 years ago and just saw the picture again and really wanted to recreate it so I did! Unfortunately it's not the same polishes as I didn't write them down back then, but it's pretty close.
Here's How:
I started with a white base of Salon Perfect "Sugar Cube."

I used the small chevron vinyls from http://www.nailvinyls.com

Usin my tweezers I peeled up 4 stickers

and place them onto my nails. I completely placed my 2nd one wrong somehow I wasn't payin attention.

and use your second color to paint over the whole nail. I used Pop-arrazi "Mauvie Night."

Then immediately pull up the vinyls with your tweezers. You do not want to let the polish dry before you peel them off.

and there's the design. you can see that second was wrong it looks off gol.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it all in. I use Salon Perfect.

and that's it!
Here's the video:

I hope y'all enjoyed this one! It wasn't as good as my first one, mostly because I wanted the same colors as before but couldn't figure it out. But I still like em.

Neon Summer Leopard Print

Hey Y'all!
Today I have a super simple leopard print design but in a hot neon color!
I did a similar design to this about 2 years ago with pink but this time I went with a hot neon teal!
Even though this design is so simple, I just love the way it looks because of the white leopard spots. The white completely pops against the teal and makes it a stand out design!

Here's How:
I started with a neon teal base called "Mer-Made Of Money" by Salon Perfect.

Then with a dottin tool and some white polish (Salon Perfect "Sugar Cube") I placed random white dots or blobs, for the leopard print.

Next I outlined the white dots with a black nail art liner called "Black Ink" by Salon Perfect. I just created "c" shapes around the dots not completely outlinin them.

It'll look like this when done.

To finish it off I went in with the dottin tool and the black polish and added dots randomly around the nail fillin in bare spots.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it all in. I use Salon Perfect.

and that's it!
Here's the video:

I just looooooove these sooo much! I dunno how I'm gonna change these up for Recycle Mani Monday! This color by Salon Perfect is just amazin! I need a backup for sure, it's just tooo beautiful!
