Born Pretty Store Stamp Review/Tutorial

Hey Y'all!
Today I have a review/tutorial for a new stampin plate from the Born Pretty store.
They sent me this to review but no one is payin me to say good things about it these are my honest oppinions.

This is how the rectangle plates arrive. They are on a plastic pink background which I love. It just gives it that much more security and grip. It also has the blue plastic coverin the plate for protection before use. So you just peel that up from the corner and remove that before usin. This is the vintage plate number BP-L007. I will put links to everythin at the bottom of this blog.

Here is the plate without the blue and sorry it's streaky I used acetone to clean it, just have to wash it to remove that.

Also I am usin my new Creative Shop Stamper that I ordered through @bsquaredlacquer on instagram. If you live in the U.S. you can't buy directly from the buyer so she is doin preorders for them and shippin when they arrive to her. The scraper is also their business card which I think is so cute and clever! It just looks so sleek!

Here is the head of the stamper. It's huge and squishy, but not sticky like my previous winstonia stamper was. Oh and you do NOT have to prime this stamper what so ever! It works right out the box! It's super amazin! I am by no means an advanced stamper but this makes it sooooo much easier and helps look like your a perfect stamper!

Let's get into how I did my tutorial with this new plate!
I started with a base of Loreal "Masked Affair" which you must get! Run right now to any and all Walgreens and Rite Aid's to find one! It's a drugstore holographic polish! I do have a love hate relationship with it as it does go on a bit spotty at first but once it's on the nail it's worth all the hype!

Then I used Salon Perfect "Oil Slick" for the stamp. I place some black polish at the top of the image I want.

Then I scrape the polish towards me. I find it much easier to scrape towards me, but you can play around with whatever works best for you.

Then I have found that with this new stamper it's best to roll over the image to pick it up instead of pressin down on it.

Here's a photo of the image on the stamper, it shows the size of the stamper and how nice it looks.

Then I press and roll the stamp across my nail. You can definitely just press into this stamper as well instead of rollin.

There's the design! Pretty impressed! Shows how good the stamper is but also how great the plate is!

Next I use a small brush and acetone to clean up any excess stamp on the skin.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it in. I use Salon Perfect as always.

And that's it! There's the full design!
