4th of July Splatter

Hey Y'all!
Just a couple more patriotic mani's left before 4th of July! Hope you're not sick of them yet!
Today I have a red silver and blue splatter mani!

Here's How:
Startin with a base of L'Oreal "Masked Affair."

You'll need a small coffee straw.

I'm gonna start by dippin the straw into a blue polish. I'm usin Salon Perfect "Indigo-go."

And blow it onto your nail.

Then repeat with a red polish. I used Salon Perfect "Salsa Dance." Dip the straw into the polish bottle.

and blow it onto the nail. Add as much as you want and the further you keep the straw from your nail the better lookin the splatter.

Use a small brush with acetone to clean up any polish on the skin.

Finish up with your favorite top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

Hope y'all enjoyed this one! I love the way this turned out! I always forget how great splatter mani's can be!

Recycle Mani Monday: Patriotic French Tip

Hey Y'all!
It's Recycle Mani Monday and of course we're keepin it patriotic.
I just added a quick blue french tip to my previous firework mani.

Here's How:
I started with my previous firework mani.

Then I used Color Club "Over The Moon," holographic blue to create a v shape french tip. I just used the polish brush and lined up the inside of the brush to my nail and drug it down on one side to get the first half of the "v."

Then repeated it on the other side to complete the "v."

Next I wanted to outline it a little. I used Salon Perfect nail art liner in "Blue Skies."
I created one straight line connectin from one of the sides of the v french all the way to the tip of the nail.

Then on the other side I just connected the 2 sides of the "v," I didn't go all the way down the tip like the first one.

Finish it off with your favorite top coat, I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

Hope y 'all enjoyed this week's Recycle Mani Monday!
If you'd like to participate next week post your recycle mani's to the tag #RecycleManiMonday and every Tuesday I feature my favorites!

Patriotic Fireworks

Hey Y'all!
More 4th of July designs comin your way!
Today I have a firework inspired design!
I'm usin a gorgeous new Salon Perfect glitter with a star stamp to create the perfect firework burst!

Here's How:
I'm startin with a base of Salon Perfect "Let Freedom Bling,' it's a gorgeous blingy bar glitter!

I'm usin this stampin plate that I got from etsy. Not sure if it's available anymore tho.

I'm usin a red polish with the star image, Salon Perfect "Salsa Dance." I place the polish on the image

and scrape towards me with my creative shop scraper.

Then I pick the image up with my creative shop stamper in a rollin motion. I love the teeny stars!

I line my nail up with the image and press my nail into the stamper.

and there it is on the nail!

Finish it all off with your favorite top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

and that's it!

I hope y'all enjoyed this one! I loved the way this turned out! It was so sparkly and cute! Totally looked like fireworks!

Patriotic Holographic Star Gradient

Hey Y'all!
I've got another patriotic design! This is a recreation of a design I did a year ago I believe, with different colors and I really wanted to try a patriotic version.
I started with a holographic base of Color Club "Harp On It."

I used these star stickers I got from GW supply or walmart. They're just basic stickers.

Tweezers help a lot in trying to pick up and place the stickers.

I placed them alternating on each nail.

like this.

Then I filled a makeup sponge with red and blue polish for my gradient. I used Salon Perfect "Indigo-go" and "Salsa Dance."

Then I taped my finger up for easier cleanup.

Then I sponged the gradient onto my nail. Just pat the sponge onto the nail up and down and all around til you get it blended and opaque enough.

It'll look like this.

Then it's time to remove the stickers. Immediately after finishin your gradient, so the polish won't dry over the stickers. Use the tweezers to carefully pull up the stickers.

And you get this!

Last remove the tape and

Clean up any excess polish on the skin.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it all in. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

I accidentally deleted the rest of the pictures of this mani :(

I really loved these so much!
