Salon Perfect Swatches

Hey y'all!
Today I have some new swatches of Salon Perfect's Polish that I won in their recent flash giveaway!

(and boo for it being late and not being able to come up with a flash title.)

I received 5 polishes and 2 nail art tools, dotters and a striper brush.
I only swatched 3 because I though the black and white were pretty basic and didn't need explainin.

Before we start with the swatches I wanted to do a mini review on the tools as well.
I didn't use the dotting tools yet but I'm sure they are great they look like normal dotters. I did however use the striper brush and I really liked it. The bristles are very sturdy and it's easy to control.
Here's a shot of my recent french manicure and I used the striper to add my burgundy accent line. I like how I could mostly control the size of the line it creates. So anyways it's a great brush and if you can get it I would say go for it.

Now onto swatches!

First up is "Traffic Cone"

This is 3 coats. It's a little bit sheer but way more creme polish than most neons. It also dries to a matte finish. It's really really neon! Amazin, one of my favorite oranges.

This is "Traffic Cone" with a shiny topcoat.

Next up is "A Royal Affair"

This is 3 coats of this Purple Jelly, almost a matte waxy finsh.
As most of you know purples love to go blue under lights and camera so this is not a great representation of this color.

This is more color accurate. Under natural lighting which is why everythin else looks weirdly colored. It's very purple. Beautiful color. Was surprised by it's sheer jelly finish, it didn't look that way in the bottle. But I still love it a lot and I'm not that much of a purple girl.

Last up "Wicked"

This is 2 coats of a matte-ish glitter in a light green jelly base.
This picture is more color accurate as it's almost a lime green.
It's a little bit goopy and I'm impatient so it didn't go on perfectly smoothly but I'm sure if you gave it time between coats it would lay a little better.

Here's a slightly darker shot.

I also decided after seein "Wicked" that I wanted to do a manicure with it but it was too goopy on it's own for me so I decided to layer it over Pure Ice "All Vamped Out" burgundy. I love how they look together. Perfect for fall in my opinion, Reminds me of leaves.

That's it y'all! Hope ya enjoyed it and I'll catch ya next time!
