Born Pretty Review/Demo: Patriotic

Hey Y'all!
Here's my last Born Pretty Store Review for now!
It's a patriotic stampin plate! I'm so excited to have this just in time for 4th of July!
I also used some of the Salon Perfect Patriotic collection!

Review/Demo:
I started with these bases: Salon Perfect: "Titanium" "Salsa Dance" Gradient of "Salsa Dance" and "Indigo-go", and my pinky is "Oceanic."

This is the plate that I'm reviewin. It's a BP-38 Patriotic plate.
10% off Code: ASQW10

I started with the star design and the "Indigo-Go" blue. Place the blue on the image

Scrape the polish towards me with my creative shop scraper.

Line my nail up and push into the stamper (creative shop). I put this one on my pointer nail which was silver.

Next I chose the giant flag design with the "Titanium" silver polish.

scrape the polish towards me

Line my nail up and push into the stamper. This one went on my middle nail which was red.

Last I chose the Lady Liberty design with "Sugar Cube" white.

Scrape the polish towards me.

Line up my nail and press into the stamper.

Here's the stamped designs.

Then on my pinky I used Salon Perfect "Let Freedom Bling" bar glitter. Just one coat of a beautiful tinsel like glitter.

So shiny!

Finish it all off with your favorite top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

I really love this stampin plate! It's got great American themed design perfect for the upcoming holiday and all year round!

Born Pretty Review: Lace Stickers

Hey Y'all!
Another Born Pretty Store review for ya! I had quite a few products this time so I wanted to get right through em!
Today we have some lace nail stickers.

I was too in love with Orly Color Blast "Enchanted Rose" that I decided to use it as my base again! I like the look of the black with the pink.

Here's the Review/Demo:
Here is what the stickers look like. Just a small sheet.
Here's the link to purchase:
10% off code: ASQW10

I used the skinny strips first and I cut them down to fit my nails.

I just placed the sticker right onto my nail and pressed it down. These are super sticky so make sure you place them correctly because they don't come back up without messing up your base.

I used scissors to cut the ends of the stickers off

and curled them under my nails.

Then I used the bigger strips on my middle nails and thumbs. I place it on the sticker sheet like this so I don't touch the sticky side too much before placin it on my nail.

I placed it on my nail like this usin the sticker sheet as my guide

and cut it straight across to separate the strip.

Then cut the tips off like the rest of the nails

It was a little difficult to do this but I used my small brush and acetone to remove the excess sticker at the cuticle. I had to brush it quite roughly to get it come off.

Then finished it all off with my top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

That's what it looks like up close. It took 3 coats of top coat before it would fully lay down and stay on my nail.

And that's it!
Here's the video:

So overall I liked the look of these but again they were a pain to use. The small strips were much easier to use but they all still crinkled up on the sides. The tips never fully laid down, I had a couple nails peel up the next day. I really do like the look but they just aren't practical enough for me.

Born Pretty Store Review/Demo: Nail Stickers

Hey Y'all!
I have another Born Pretty Review. Today I'll be reviewin some nail stickers.
These are sparkly yellow stickers. They come in a nice cardboard case and on a sheet like below with a clear plastic sheet on top.
They're a little bit tacky on top and a real sticker on the bottom.
You just peel it off the paper
and lay it down on the nail. It was pretty difficult to line it up perfectly, I had to keep peelin it back up off my nail to re-situate it.
Then you are supposed to file off the excess at the tip. That was pretty easy to do, once you finally get it laid down right.
I finished it off with a top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it.
If you wanna see how I did the yellow and black stamp it's in the first part of this video:

So overall I didn't really like these nail stickers. In the end they look pretty good, but they were so difficult to work with and one ripped really easily. I just wouldn't personally use these again. They might work better with shorter nails, but it was just a pain for me.

Here's the link if you wish to purchase:

I also have a 10% off code: ASQW10
I don't make money off this code.

Born Pretty Store Review/Demo: Skull Stamp

Hey Y'all!
I've got another stampin plate from Born Pretty Store to review! This one is a punk style and I'll be usin the skull design.

Here's How:
I started with Zoya "Blaze"

The Plate I'm reviewin is BP-39 and the skull image.

I started with a gold color, Confetti "Debutante" and placed it onto the plate.

Then with my creative shop scraper I scraped the polish towards me.

and pick up the image with my creative shop stamper in a rollin motion.

Line up your nail and push into the image.

and there it is on the nail.

I use a piece of tape to clean the excess polish off my stamper.

Then I used black on the same image. I used Sephora Formula X "Dark Matter."

Did the same thing, put the polish on the plate, scrape the polish towards me and pick up the image in a rollin motion.

Line up your nail and push into the stamper. The black one went onto both my pinkies.

Use your favorite top coat to seal it all in. I use Salon Perfect.

and there it is!
Here's the video:
