Recycle Mani Monday: Chevron Tips

Hey Y'all!
Sorry this post is late!
It's Recycle Mani Monday again!
Today I did some more chevron tips.

Here's How:

Regular tape is gonna be the tool for this one.

I take the corner of the piece of tape and line it up on my nail with my previous 'v' shape design.

Make sure to push the tape down so no polish will get under it.

Then I painted the remainder of my nail with a nude polish. I used Zoya "Charlott."

Immediately remove the tape before the polish dries.

Use a small brush with acetone to cleanup any excess polish on your skin.

Finish it off with your favorite top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

These weren't my favorite nails ever but they were ok Gol.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Hey Y'all!
I'm so far behind in my blog posts but here goes!
This was my 4th of July mani!
It's a glow in the dark star mani! Perfect for the dark night watchin fireworks!
Look at that Glow! So Fun!

Also It was my 3rd year Instagram anniversary!
I painted my logo to celebrate!

Here's How:
I started with naked nails.

I used these star stickers I got from Walmart or GW Supply. They're just regular stickers.

I also used a pair of tweezers to make it easier to apply and remove the stickers.

I applied a glow in the dark top coat to my naked nails. I used Pure Ice Glow Top Coat.

Then I applied a regular top coat (Salon Perfect) to help the nail dry faster, so the stickers wouldn't ruin the glow base.

I used my tweezers to apply my star stickers.

I applied 2 stars on each nail. You can apply as many as you want.

Then I used a blue polish to paint over the whole nail includin the stickers. I used Salon Perfect "Indigo-go."

Immediately remove the stickers before the blue polish can dry.

I used my small brush and acetone to cleanup any excess polish.

Finish it all off with your favorite top coat. I used Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

I loved these so much! They were so fun outside in the dark while watchin fireworks! I hope y'all had a wonderful safe 4th of July!

4th of July Splatter

Hey Y'all!
Just a couple more patriotic mani's left before 4th of July! Hope you're not sick of them yet!
Today I have a red silver and blue splatter mani!

Here's How:
Startin with a base of L'Oreal "Masked Affair."

You'll need a small coffee straw.

I'm gonna start by dippin the straw into a blue polish. I'm usin Salon Perfect "Indigo-go."

And blow it onto your nail.

Then repeat with a red polish. I used Salon Perfect "Salsa Dance." Dip the straw into the polish bottle.

and blow it onto the nail. Add as much as you want and the further you keep the straw from your nail the better lookin the splatter.

Use a small brush with acetone to clean up any polish on the skin.

Finish up with your favorite top coat. I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

Hope y'all enjoyed this one! I love the way this turned out! I always forget how great splatter mani's can be!

Recycle Mani Monday: Patriotic French Tip

Hey Y'all!
It's Recycle Mani Monday and of course we're keepin it patriotic.
I just added a quick blue french tip to my previous firework mani.

Here's How:
I started with my previous firework mani.

Then I used Color Club "Over The Moon," holographic blue to create a v shape french tip. I just used the polish brush and lined up the inside of the brush to my nail and drug it down on one side to get the first half of the "v."

Then repeated it on the other side to complete the "v."

Next I wanted to outline it a little. I used Salon Perfect nail art liner in "Blue Skies."
I created one straight line connectin from one of the sides of the v french all the way to the tip of the nail.

Then on the other side I just connected the 2 sides of the "v," I didn't go all the way down the tip like the first one.

Finish it off with your favorite top coat, I use Salon Perfect.

And that's it!

Hope y 'all enjoyed this week's Recycle Mani Monday!
